I've seen them too but can't remember what it's called; spherical strainer?

I've now got a 2nd broody, a young Wellie pullet whose eggs Eve has been sitting on since yesterday... if she doesn't quit during the week or do other novice nonsense, I'll try to slip some of her own eggs to her. They are in separate coops, which should make it easier. And perhaps not coincidentally, one of the Swedish Flowers (none of whom have gone broody for me) is teaching the young Barbezieux pullet to roost in the holm oak...:th

Getting some pro tree huggers then Perris.:p

Tribe 3. They have started coming around in the evening once Tribe 1 has gone to roost. Outside my house is Tribe 1 territory although other tribes will visit. Notch has become more confident this year. He had a bad year last year and got his arse kicked by every other rooster here. Don't feel sorry for him. He bullied and harassed all the other roosters for a couple of years. Eventually Cillin put a stop to it. Thankfully Cillin doesn't have a vindictive streak in him and Notch just keeps out of his way these days. The bantam roosters still try to pick a fight with Notch most evenings. He made their live a misery for quite a while.
Anyway, Notch has settled down and while he no longer runs away from the bantam roosters he backs off if at all possible. He's a wonder with his hens. Probably the best of the bunch now and he's got all the nutters.
