Good morning Café.
It rained off and on yesterday. Sometimes quite hard. But it's cooled off and the temp feels much better now.
The woman who said she was getting ready for Captain changed her mind. Said she and her boyfriend thought Captain might be mean. Maybe they should have asked about that BEFORE saying they'd take him. I told her he wasn't at all but they still backed out. I think these people see a picture of a pretty rooster and just react and say they want him before actually thinking about it.

bruceha2000, yes the kiddo on the right is mine. He is coaching a HS teammate there. CO is just now starting to allow some reopening so there is limited practice for wrestling, but no tournaments yet. DS$ has a few camps lined up for August and then maybe things will start to kick back into gear. My boy has grown these past few months and I don't mean fluffy flubby, lol, he is going to be a beast when things start rolling. I have no idea what weight he will wrestle for HS either.
We are working on getting his college recruitment stuff in order and this is completely new territory for us, even without the covid stuff. I have to get my "caller id" back on the land phone so that when DH hangs up on anyone, we can at least figure out who it was...
LOL! My cell phone via internet is sketchy at best.
All in a day's work, eh? Have a good one!

Thanks for that, Sour. I've just finished running the dogs and will be heading over to pick up the weekly brunch from Gigi's.

I have a new person interested in Captain. Problem is his flock is only 8 weeks old. So I'm explaining the need to quarantine and then see how Captain does with them after the look don't touch period. I then decided to offer Missy to go with him so he has a mate until the pullets are ready. The man is discussing this with the wife.
Their setup is large enough to house the new additions and looks predator proof. They will free range during the day. Fingers crossed.

I hope it works out!

Hey good morning all thanks wanted the scond cup .. Opened my own coops today Thunder got me out bed at 8 it was impressive ....
Tomorrow will be cloudy no rain then back to warmer 70 's like that better than 85
