We've got another hot one up on deck here with a thunderstorm potential.
I close on mom's house tomorrow. There was a delay due to no shared driveway agreement being on record with the Town. That came up when my attorney found the other deed restriction filed for mom's new property: No Chickens Allowed!! I laughed out loud when I read that. I guess she'll have to come up here for her chicken fix.

Cool and damp here today; hoping we get some proper rain today. All the housemartins' nests here have fallen because it's been too dry for quality mud Undeterred, they are trying to rebuild, and it would be nice if they can get some better mud this time round.

Well, that bit of sunshine didn't last long.
Since then we've had two thunderstorms and 3 inches of rain.
Everything is sodden including me.
It's a hot chocolate type of night. I've made a jug. Help yourselves to a cup.
Got the stove running again. It's June ffs!!

It froze the other night in June. Some surrounding places got quite a bit of snow... In June! I've yet to walk around and see what plants survived. I know one didn't. It's supposed to be 90° on Friday, though, back to summer
