Love the cabinets go clear to the ceiling our do love it
It must be an illusion Penny. They don't. Like the one wall to the right of the cabinets looks blue. It's white! Maybe it's my phone.
The wall cabinets are standard 30" height. The ceilings are sloped in the entire house so the center wall is higher than the outer wall.

do/did you have woodchip wallpaper in the US? It was very popular here in the 1970s and thereabouts, because it is very good at disguising any irregularities in the wall surface. It is an utter nightmare to get off :rant
I've never heard of it so hopefully I'll never see it here!! What I am removing is vinyl coated paper over an irregular surface so they applied lots of extra paste... :barnie

I bought the windows from Home Depot for the front of the house for $855 on Wednesday. I got home last night and I have a promo coupon from HD for 10% off my next in store or online purchase. I have not yet picked up said windows. I will be returning them electronically and buying them back on my HD card along with the bathroom tile (and all the tiling accouterments) I am getting from HD, using my coupon and saving about $200.

My mother is oblivious to all these little things I do to save her money. I also sold the range that was in the kitchen yesterday. It was 22 years old but as clean as new and everything worked. I sold it for $50. I am also selling the dishwasher for the same.

Wow DL!
i wish I had some of your energy!
Sheesh! I wish I had the energy level I had back when I started flipping. BUT, in my defense, I am feeling much better physically too. I can feel my strength coming back and it feels great!
I've been near dead for far too long.

Good morning, Cafe. The coffee is on and the tea kettle is hot. Pick your poison.
It's time to get the dogs out for their morning run.

The place I've run my dogs for nearly 25 years is owned by the Apalachin Volunteer Fire Department. To raise money for decades they hosted a 5 day carnival event called, you guessed it, the Apalachin Fireman Field Days. We all just call area the Field Day grounds. It lies in the AE flood zone. It flooded in both of the big floods of 2006 and 2011.

The 2011 flood did them in as it took out some expensive equipment. They stopped having the Field Days in 2012 but continued to maintain the grounds for use for other functions like the Tioga County Kennel club shows, Tracy's Hope (breast cancer awareness), the Apalachin Book Sale and Ice Cream Social, antique car shows, etc. Lately, they have not been mowing at all. Someone from the neighborhood has been buzzing their rider around to keep the paths open. At this point the fields could be hayed.

We ran into a couple of the firemen yesterday. I asked what their plans are for the property. I was informed they are selling it. They claim they have 2 or 3 people interested. The high ground (out of the flood zone) has a sewer line running under it that goes through the fields and across (under) the creek where I take the dogs. They are hoping a developer will want it.

I am going to continue to take the dogs there until I can't.
