I do this each morning when doing chores. I'll take her off and toss her out, give her a jab if she needs it to snap out of the trance then move on to releasing the flock, feeding and cleaning. This way I can monitor what she's doing and make sure she (and only she) gets back in her nest then close the maternity ward door.I chuck them off if I'm concerned about their food intake
They have to get back to the nest through the run and pop door and past the feeders. Veronica was not stopping to eat.
She's low ranking and the other hens are going after her when she's off the nest because of her broody behavior.
