I got the blasted wallpaper border off.

There are boards that run horizontal on the exterior walls at 8' all around the house. In this room there was a weird, dark, granular substance on top of the board. The area where the wall and ceiling meet was very poorly patched after the house settled and a crack opened up. I broke into the patch removing the border.

And it rained down ants on me.
I blasted away with some Home Defense and slaughtered them. After cleaning up the mess, I caulked the top of that board to seal it. The little ant corpses kept raining down into my caulk joint!
This is about the sixth batch I cleaned off.

I zipped up to dad's house for the bucket of mud only to find that it was practically empty. But still had just enough to patch the gap to keep any further ants from falling out.

I managed to get all the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and boxes sanded and vacuumed.
