Ruthin has mum's pea comb and dad's legs (assuming this is Sven's not Chirk's), and still got the eyeliner, though has changed colour completely from chipmunk to greyscale 🙃 Something that looks like a Swedish Flower and lays blue eggs would be wonderful!

I think so too. And has a lovely nature - let's hope that continues. I know in due course he'll start challenging for dominance, but for now he's not, and we can all enjoy him

Beautiful bird there just stunning

Went for a 'Respite Ride' today, bathed in the AC in van and 3 stores.
Actually sat on edge of cooler shelf to wait for my deli order of fried chicken, coleslaw, and watermelon. Stocked up on some food and treats for me and got the needed chicken chow.
Less crabby now, but stilltoodamnHOT!!
What treats did you get aart?

It's been a warm one here. I've got some kind of infection in a tooth that isn't there!!! I've got a seriously sore bear head on. This means dentists if they're open.
We have a land line phone here in theory. It hasn't worked since February and wasn't all that clever before then. The phone company are still sending bills!!
Most of the chickens have and do cope reasonably well with the heat. They know where to go to keep cool and the locations are pretty safe. Ruffles (half Marans and half mixed bantam) used to suffer in the heat, so much so that the year before last I was very concerned for her health when the temperatures went above 40C. Strangely her daughter, Hurry, who isn't as heavily built also struggles a bit. She's very much like her mother in looks and temperament.
Moon who has lots of Marans genes including laying dark brown eggs also struggles with the heat. But, Fat Bird, the last of the full Marans doesn't seem at all bothered.

I am drinking allot more yesterday and trying to today part of me questions my neck looking up or down is tha hardest about 7 years ago I was told the spinal is closing in my neck I have not had feeling in my hands or feet for years due to it
I have a big glass of water with me now and am working on drinking it.

I hope drinking more water help with the vertigo!

OJ concentrate and pineapple yogurt for frozen 'ice cream' treats.
Sweet and Spicy trail mix. Caramel M&M's(kept in the fridge).
.....and the deli meal was a treat.

Hmmm, I think I might get some ice cream when I go shopping. I haven't had ice cream for years. I'll make some gooey meringues to go with it.

Tooth got pulled late last year. It's an infection in whatever is left in the way of bone and nerve canals I think.
