The only ray of hope I have is that I watched her tuck and adjust the eggs when I went out to give her fresh water.
But I just heard her calling the chicks to her for food.

Someone texted me and offered to lend me their old style, no turner incubator. They are 5.5 miles from where I work. I pick it up tomorrow.

Astrid is the least bored broody on the planet right now.
One of the Sebrights was under her wing. I could see it's little head popped out.
She's panting to beat the band out there. It's 97F with a heat index of 105F. Pure and utter misery.
I'm thinking about starting a thread to document this whole endeavor. It's such a weird place to be and I've never read of anyone trying something like this.

That is crazy good though she is dedicated my silkie as soon as the peeps where talking she started cooing to them .. tried and true broody is worth all the incubators inb the world .. loosing the one silkie yesterday thought it might help them through that to have the peeps also
