Nope, just me and slowly. Half is in the shade, so that's not too bad. I've got the right tools for the job and it doesn't need to be deeper that a couple of feet.

Why on earth are you sad about this, @featherhead007? It's the absolute best possible outcome for the chicks, their new mother and the unhatched eggs!

I'm so glad she settled back with the eggs!!
Gonna be really interesting to see what happens after they hatch.

This is one of the reasons I wanted Astrid to bond with the chicks. She'll keep them all.

I gave the six that hatched to the silkie.
Only change is silkie is she was in the corner of the the coop now in the middle with the peeps.
