Thoughts please...
The chick had fallen out of the nest and was between it and the wall; behind them as you look at the picture.
Would it be too risky to put Astrid and the nest in the brooder with the chicks?
There's obvious risk to leaving her where she is.

I wouldn't move her. I think your solution shown later in the thread is a better option.
By Bob had a not dissimilar problem with his chicks and the solution for him was to remove the front nest board so the chicks could get back in. I appreciate this isn't an option with your set up, but it is worth considering, imo, sinking the nest box into the ground so there is no lip for the next hatch. Just a though. Or you could as aart is sort of suggesting make three walls and ramp the front.
