@sourland, since you are the broody magician... checked the 5 eggs in the incubator yesterday.. day 10, 5 of 5 have air pockets developing... we have a go!

Thanks for the coffee and well wishes for the dogs, Sour. Bella kept down the tiny meal and just finished her larger meal that was basically turned to soup with a 1/2 cup of warm water mixed in with it.

YES!!!! YES!!!! I have a 6 month old Black Sex Link pullet named Henrietta Brown. She's such a sweetie and is building a nest full of eggs. Charlie will sit just outside the nesting box (big plastic tub) when she goes in to lay... she's pretty protective of her eggs.. I'm hoping she'll go broody!

These two have a nice big run all to themselves. I'm hoping she'll sit the eggs.

I'll give it a try next year. Right now she is much too young, and Black Sex Links always present a challenge.

They showed up at 8, were gone by 9:30.
Was amazing to watch the equipment and skills,
and as far as I can tell no damage done.
SO glad to see all that mess gone!
