@Shadrach what's the yellow fruit to the right in your picture ?

It's a lemon. The little tree here is loaded with them. Most of them are more round than lemon shaped. Tastes fine.

We have bad wind and fire danger here-- I hope we can get some light rain soon!

I get bad wind some days. Not too worried about fire danger, although which end is wndy does raise some concerns.
If one does catch fire it will take more than a light rain to put it out judging by the smell.

Big ones are pomegrantes.
The purple ones are figs.
The roundish yellow one is a lemon.

-14°f (-25°c?) this morning and slowly trying to warm up. The roads are wretched! Like one big long rumble strip. The only thing I kept thinking on the way was "stress sweat smells worse that regular sweat" Stupid commercials.

I've made a night time pot of coffee turkish style. Watch out for the residue in the bottom of the cup!
Very stormy here but not much rain. It snowed in the nearest town!Not much, but it was snow right enough.
7C outside and needless to write I've got the woodburner going, hence the turkish coffee.
