My mother calls covid “the cova”. It drives me nuts & no amount of correcting her will change it. Worst part is I get a parody of “The Copacabana” stuck in my head for hours.

In breaking news, Maggie is starting to signal when she needs to go out by going to the door, then staring at the chair where I 'hang' my coat, and then sitting and staring at me. She's been really good with few accidents, but a lot of that has to do with the frequency that we take her outside. Now if only she will start ringing the bell.

Trying. She'll nudge the bells, but the sound sets her off a bit. She is very aware of sounds - I'm hoping that thunder is not going to be a problem with her. Dani hated storms and got worse as she aged.

I used a single cast bronze bell, about 2" tall, hung on the wall near the door.
Nudged their noses with it(then happydogparty sounds) before opening the door.
I loved the bell!
