BYC Café

I'm afraid of antagonizing the ghost. He's just been a jokester so far. I still haven't found the car keys that he took, and then there's the time he locked the cat in a cabinet or the time he put a container of cauliflower in the hall bathroom under the garbage can or the time he grabbed my foot and shook it while I was sleeping or the time -----------------

Fascinating! No wonder MM is growling. She probably doesn’t want any part of what he’s plotting for her.

How long after you bought the house did you figure out Kokopelli was living there?

We bought the house in '65, and all was fine until 2000 when we put a master bath/bedroom addition. That seemed to aggravate him; although, there were times prior to that when dogs/cats alerted to a presence. I think that I saw him once. Not certain why we refer to the ghost as 'Him', but it just seems male.

Ghost stories.
DH and I lived in a house that was surrounded on 3 sides by a cemetery. We loved the neighbors but not so much their living visitors.
After moving back home after finishing the first flip, we'd get home from work and the front door would be locked. 🤔
We NEVER locked the front door. We had 3 Dobermans loose in the house.
After the third day in a row of finding the door locked I jokingly yelled over to the cemetery "Alright. You've had your fun. Knock it off, please." That was the last time the door was locked when we got home.

That is so funny!
