Human water is treated. May have to switch for a time and see if anything changes. She's going to call the state vet and talk to them about it. The state lab is only 20minutes away, so a necropsy is a viable option. I don't know what the cost is, however.

I must’ve missed the post where you had the water tested. Did someone come out or did you bring a sample in?

They took the sample to a local lab before they moved in. High fluoride is common in the area, along with high iron. I always suggest people get their water tested. You just never know till you know, unless it's something visible.

Ha, sorry. Our oldest boy and his girlfriend. Their house - and her chickens are having troubles.

Speaking of fog, we’ve had dense fog here the last few nights. That’s not uncommon for this area. I know it creeps some people out, but I love the fog. I find it absolutely fascinating.

That’s terrible! We’ve had times where we’ve had trouble with certain flocks & after a few consecutive losses it gets very disheartening. Has she sent any in for necropsy?
