Then the third would be day 1.
I always mis-count!
Doesn't matter too much when you remove turner and up the humidity, depending on air cell size.....did you trace them during the incubation?
I weighed them. So here are the results from today. Lots of infertile, including my super blue :hmm

Range is at a loss of 11-13% by day 18. Of course it's day 18.5...

Yeah, I can't tell from that....always went by the visual tracing to decide whether to up humidity when turner was taken out or wait until first pip

So can you go by what the 18th day is supposed to look like or do you have to go by the difference between 7, 14, and 18?

And is lockdown supposed to be the beginning of day 18 or the beginning of day 19? Not sure why I can't figure that out :(

If I go by weights, the seem to be on par, or close enough I'd think. I've read on darker shelled eggs to use a different humidity, but people hatch mixed batches all the time... Can't be too critical?

Don't worry so much, it will spoil all the fun!

And it does not really matter whether it is day 18 or 18,5, the important thing is to take out the turner and up the humidity to 60%.

As soon as the first chick hatches, the humidity will skyrocket anyway.
