Cooking a big pot of fresh chicken soup for a friend that has just contracted Covid.
She texted me last night. Her 90+ years old father brought it back home from the daycare he stays two days a week. Now the whole family is down with it and too weak to cook.

I spoke with Nan and told her what's going on. She's going up to 5 hours a day starting next week.
I spoke to my manager about working on site 8 hours and home 2. He's fine with that.
So now all his waking hours are covered.
I get him up in the morning to take his meds and eat breakfast and he goes back to bed when I leave. Sometimes he's up when Nan gets there at noon. Sometimes she gets him up. This works in my favor.
The next milestone will be if he gets up early and wanders. Then he'll have to have someone with him 24/7. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
I could see CS and UN calling DH in the morning and trying to coax him into walking down there again. That's where my mind is with them. Ultimately hurting him to try to hurt me. They are human refuse.

Twice now we've lost power in the entire building, we are plunged into total darkness and I've lost all my unsaved work. Luckily I hit Ctrl+s after every little change. But then I have to wait for the servers to reboot and connect.

We've hit a milestone. DH "went for a walk" when Nan left. He ended up at my mother's house, 1.25 miles down the hill. I was texted by UN stating "Why is (DH) here in tears?"

WHAT?

I had to leave work early to go get him.
He doesn't understand why he shouldn't have left the house let alone walked all the way down the hill and gone THERE.
DH claims he wasn't in tears. That he must have missed my mom, doesn't understand what's been going on between her and I and went down there. Mom was a little teary eyed to see him there and he got misty. That's what HE said. I'll never really know. I picked him up and on the way home told him we'd have to call his kids for an update.

I then got a call from my BIL telling me that CS was trying to call DHs son (they took his phone from him and saw a missed call from Jr and took the number) and that she and UN plan to call Adult Protective Services on me. Fine and dandy. Bring it on! I've done nothing wrong and take great care of DH. I spoke to both kids and they support me completely. Yes. Even Jr.
I often am shocked that I share so many genes with these nut job, rotten people.

Of all the things that make me sad & angry about this, them taking his phone pisses me off the most. What a total violation of privacy!

You might consider taking his phone proactively & blocking all the numbers from your mothers zoo.

No, I haven't tried it yet. That's what this appointment is for. I've been on hydroxychloriquine for about 7 months, but it's not working so she said to stop taking it yesterday.

A friend of mine tried Methotrexate and the side effects had her stop it after a few month, and she did not get any benefit from taking it.

DW was on both hydroxy and meth for a time. She was on Enbrel but is now on Humira for her RA. Get good health insurance before you get RA

we had moderna not a choice where under idea J&J but nope got there now get to go back in 3 weeks

If you are going back in 3 weeks it should have been Pfizer, Moderna is 4 weeks.

My arm is pretty sore this morning but that is the only side effect.

Similar to my experience, the 2nd day after I didn't feel any pain. Second shot next Friday.

50mph+ down here South of you - so far power is maintaining.

Nope Good to go here.. We are just lower elevation enough we do not see allot. When we do it is gone in a day or two.

It's a bit like that here. Even 50 metres up saw a lot more snow than we got here.
