I started to order mine last fall to have them laying now. I had them let me know when they would have some ready this year. On there first date they didn't couldn't fill the order, on the second date it was when USPS couldn't ship any live animals due to weather. With my lowest number of hens every 3 and 2 roo's I should have got them last fall.Broody Broken!
Checked with breeder for when my chicks will be ready:
"We have chicks due Tuesday and another batch due the week after.
There are 12 people in front of you. I would guess not this week but maybe next"
MaybeBaby...I understand, but geez, am getting anxious.
I want them now so they are laying by fall.
At least this way I didn't have to keep a brooder or coop warm over winter.
