BYC Café

Thanks for the coffee, DL.

I have a chiropractor appointment this morning, including x-rays to see how things are lining up, or not.

Chilly today, compared to yesterday, and tomorrow will be even colder. I don't mind; I hope this tells the fruit trees to wait a bit longer before budding.

Today is a friend's LAST day of work. Tomorrow is his FIRST day of retirement. He told me he parked in "his" parking spot for the last time. He doesn't know they have a surprise party for him this afternoon, and his wife is going to go. He should be very surprised. I told her to get pictures. I want to see the look on his face.

Our "daughter" (she's young enough to be at 35, so we call her that) was diagnosed with lymphoma last week. Last December, she tele-med conferenced with her doctor about a lump in her armpit. Her doc said to take some ibuprophen. When I heard that, I was so angry I couldn't even speak. Then what came out made the air blue.

Morning and thanks for the coffee!
Sally, I am sorry to hear about your DD. Hugs...
Nice score on the coop, Meg!
Aart, have fun with the chicks! :D
Sunny and warming up here. We are off to play with saws and whatever we find in the irrigation ditch; I am hoping for no dead bodies this year... (elk and deer!)
I brought a pizza for lunch because my friend loves pepperoni pizza and is stuck at home for a bit with his recovery. DS$ is flying out and fingers crossed that he can put together a great tournament and have fun! I can tell he is still very disappointed in himself from State, but hanging with the boys and coaching Coach through wins/ losses will help.
Enjoy the day!

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughters diagnosis. Has she found a good oncologist?
