Sorry to hear about the phone troubles. They aren't as smart as they think they are! Err... Wait. Maybe that's me I'm a bit of a technophobe. These phones do far more than I'll ever know.

I think the official population is a bit over two thousand.
There are three villages sort of crammed together, so the effected area/population is likely to be around six thousand.
What is going to make matters worse is it's Easter. Lots of people going to church, kissing and hugging and they'll leave church and go and infect the rest of their families. It's going to be a real mess here in a couple of weeks.

Ha! I feel like I can picture it It's not like they're small, either! I wouldn't want to be the object of an ornery gooses "affections".

My husband tells a story about him and his brother looking at a job. They were wandering about the property and this old goose would run up to them when they weren't paying attention and nail them on the leg or hand and run away. Their dad got there and they thought it'd be funny to set him up. So they walked around a bit and started talking to him so the goose was behind him. They were giggling, thinking this bird was going to startle the bejesus out of him. Well, here it comes a runnin' and dad turned around and snatched that goose by the beak! Quick as a copperhead apparently. He showed his boys

That's funny. It's a bit like that here with some of the roosters. Lots of people just wander around with their heads up their arses, oblivious to the fact that not all other creatures are going to welcome their presence.
I get asked quite a lot how I don't get flogged or pecked more. I tell them I make sure I'm awake before I go outside.

They are just harder to find yet MUCH cheaper. They also flip now. That's what I own.

Throw it away and you'll have a phone that makes phone calls.

I did ask for a phone that was simple to match my intellect and my patience.

Cold, but sunny right now. The last really cold morning, I hope.

Two months to go to chick month. Dang. So glad others are getting/hatching peepers so I can get my chickfix. Mine aren't even a glimmer in the rooster's eye yet.

BRRRRR! I put a max/min thermometer in my coop a few weeks ago. It'll be interesting to see what it read for last night.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Sour.
It was 18 this morning. Light dusting fell yesterday after the morning snow melted away.
It's expected to stay in the low 30s today and back down in the 20s tonight.

I am refilling the wood rack yet again.......happy spring???

I REFUSE to fill them!! I will only bring enough wood in for 2 days based on the forecast. Besides, we're almost out of wood.

Yesterday was Mother Nature's April Fool joke. It got sunny in the afternoon.

Go outside, forgetting to put on another layer.

YEOWZAH! That north wind took it right out of me. Mother Nature just laughed. "Ha ha! Fooled you, and it worked brilliantly! Because I'm so super and you're so stupid!" Or something like that.
