At least with the state run (don't know about the pharmacy ones) here they schedule the second shot while you are doing your 15 minute after shot wait period. Sign up is via an online system, chose the day and time you want from the available slots. Thus there is no question as to how long before it is your turn.

Hey Cafe moving a tad slow fell over my Moose Labrador.
He was in the bedroom .. Not his normal spot.
This was last night lots of blood everywhere. guess lips bleed allot upper lip may have to glue the split closed

with glue if it works is, it will keep you from having to have the sutures put in.

That doesn't sound real well organized. Does everyone have to sign up at a pharmacy and keep checking to see when their time is coming up?

I signed up via text the first day I was eligible, two weeks ago. I was going to that store, so I asked about it when I was there. Since it's a small town, the pharmacist said, he didn't know when they would have some, but the alert would ask me if I wanted to go to a different store, so not to worry.

Two weeks on, and not a peep. I was there today and was able to make appointments for both hubby and me for TOMORROW!!!

So, um, Meijers... why hadn't you contacted me?!?!?!

Follow up shot is in 28 days. Getting the Moderna one.

My relief outweighs my piss offedness. Now we can schedule vacation for the middle of May and go see hubby's dad. Whew.

And be back home for chicks in June, but I still don't have a date for that.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. We are glad to be going to the local Meijers, but we would have gone just about anywhere. Downtown GR at Devos Place is very busy, and I'm sure parking is a nightmare.

On the plus side, if you see the news stories about Devos Place and see any of the signs for Spectrum Health... Hubby printed those.

I built Aart's chicken door for the little ones this weekend. It's working very well! I'm not sure when they'll decide to sleep with the big flock... May have to kick them out when I'm ready to move the little chickies outside.

Didn't feel like drilling out the corners for an easy transition for the jigsaw, so not pretty - but functional
