Partition wall is up!
Had to do a couple quick 'edits' with the pruning saw,
but it went up pretty easy.
Probably move chicks out there tomorrow.

1st Moderna shot was sore as hell.....if I poked at it.
Had no trouble sleeping on that side,
pain was less than still lingering tendinitis.
Reports of fully vaccinated folks in MI testing positive with 3 dead.

They would have been part of the 5 to 6% that did not get full protection. They might have also stopped wearing a mask in places with covid, like Michigan that is having a surge currently. A high enough virus load can overcome the protection from the vaccine

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

It 45F this morning heading up to near 80. No fire in the stove and open windows to warm the house today!

I think I've got the furniture sold and they will pick it up Saturday night once they confirm it fits in the apartment. It'll be nice to be able to paint the room with nothing in it.

I'd heard something about that too.

My arm is a bit more sore today. If I touch the area around/below the injection site or raise my arm up above shoulder level. Hubby said his arm is sore today as well.

My next door neighbor is getting chickens! She's thinking RIRs, and she talked about either the full 15-20 that she wants to have eventually, or maybe start with 6-8. She wants eggs, eggs, eggs, and friendly chickens for her three young boys to interact with.

I gave her my heat lamp (not using one again; got a brooder plate for this go around) and a bag of chick starter feed. I'm not getting my chicks until June, so I'd rather she use it and I'll get a new bag when I get the chicks.

Man, I need a second cup of coffee now. I'll blame my droopiness on the shot.

Good morning all, I'm bringing another pot. That was neighborly Sally, and keeps the feed from spoiling before it gets used. Hope you and DH don't have any more than the sore arm.

Morning! I am a smidge sore too but not from a shot. I haven't been able to track one down yet. They get snapped up pretty quickly and I just can't walk down to the corner.
We went to my friend's ranch and helped out again gathering firewood, stacking, fixing barb wire fence, and sinking a post in the ground for a brace, and then wiring that to another fence. All good and lots of sunshine. Sat. we are heading back down to take out two dead walnut trees and will have a woodworker in tow to hand the wood off to.
I guess I am paying for just sitting around sunning myself for most of the winder!

It's actually less than 5-6%...but much is still unknown.
