BYC Café

For as much time as it takes to make them pretty, you're right, doesn't take long to mess them up!
I bought sparkly blue nail polish and painted my toes. Imagine how quickly that went down the drain when I was marching up and down the beach in my water shoes getting filled with sand rubbing away at my feet.
Sadly, two years ago that $305 would have been $200 for the same amount of flowers.

Ha, I bet it sanded down quick! Might make it much easier to get it off :p

Aren't these prices something else? It's awful.

Makes me want to get a little greenhouse, save the seeds and tubers and start new plants for myself each spring.
That sounds lovely. I always wanted to work in a garden/nursery. At least I think that, but then I think I'd just be antisocial and want to talk to the plants and everyone would leave me alone haha :lau So, maybe instead, I'll have the time someday to have my own "gardens" and my dogs will be there and the chickens won't eat anything but weeds!

A girl can dream...

Yes. And it is not just the flowers or building materials such as lumber etc. Inflation is running wild.
Here in Germany even flour prices etc. start skyrocketing :th

And of course at a time when due to the pandemic the average incomes have dropped significantly and/or people even lost their jobs.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
We are in for a hot day today then the temps drop back down again. Approaching "I need a fire in the stove" temps. I REFUSE!!
Good afternoon everyone ,and thanks for the coffee @DobieLover

I have to clean all the coops today and am currently waiting for the deluge to stop for at least half an hour...

So enjoy the hot day, I envy you!

We are finally getting some much needed rain. For those of you who have too much, sorry to sound so happy about rain, but I am... very happy. We could get more on Friday too. :ya

Today is chiropractor day. Then I go see my "daughter" who has Lymphoma. She may have lost her hair by now. I'm telling myself that that means she's farther along in the treatment. As my physical therapist said when I was rehabbing my broken wrist, "The only way out is through."
