I forgot to mention that I've received a permanent PFM! This site is great but borderlines on intolerably slow with the ads if you don't have a PFM.
I'm so relieved that I don't have to do anymore contests to try to win them. It's just not in my normal nature to be a smart ass to try to win a caption contest!

Why is she against getting vaccinated?

It is religious and political so we cannot talk about it! Apparently 15% or Americans overall and a higher percentage of one group are like this.

She as also given up on her diabetes medicine and refuses to get labs and go to the Dr. anymore.

We are in very sad times!

Good morning, Cafe'. Coffee is ready. I'm applying caffeine and Aleve to a major headache. It's working - thankfully.

Took Miss Maggie Mae to a barbecue at our daughter's home yesterday. Grandkids and their significant others, neighbors, SIL's stepdad and 4 other dogs were there. For the first half hour Maggie was near berserk and I kept her on a flexi. When she settled down she became the life of the party and was universally loved - except when she decided the Corn Hole game was a game of fetch. When we got home she collapsed in exhaustion. Finally a peaceful evening.

Bella and Skittle joined DH and I at my sister's house for a BBQ. They were the only dogs. The cats had to be locked in a bedroom as they were terrified of the dogs. Bella had never been there and she just kept buzzing all over the place checking everything in the house. She was a hyperventilating mess for the first half hour or so before she finally decided she was okay. Then she really started in with the charm trying to get everyone to pet her.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee, Sour. Sorry about the headache but at least the coffee is doing the trick.
I'm back to work today.
I need to figure out how to manage all my caretakers going on vacation. And DH will be going on a 2 week vacation to see his son and to go see his siblings. I may take a week off in there to reframe the garage. Or I'll just work extra days so I can take off when I have no care takers.

Another lovely morning here, 3 more nice days until the next nasty heat wave.
Trying to get all the mowing caught up before then.
