Well accoring to thread and needle I have 5 pullets one roo anxious to see may actually do it three times

At least it will have a 50:50 accuracy and keep you entertained.

I noticed that while the wing feathering of all 6 of my new chicks is similar, the 2 Wyandottes are slow on the tail feathers compared to the Australorps and Ameraucanas.

I noticed that while the wing feathering of all 6 of my new chicks is similar, the 2 Wyandottes are slow on the tail feathers compared to the Australorps and Ameraucanas.

My Australorps got tail feathers faster than my Jubilee Orpington, a lot faster. Really, really hoping for 3 pullets.

When I thought I was going to get 5 chicks, a cockerel (as in just one) would have been fine. Since I ended up with only 3, I don't want any cockerels. I want more eggs!

Best is I will have a few go to a retired gal here in town.. The three up in banty growing up my "color pack" crew of 3 are really looking rangy but huge compared to the silkie

It's another nice cool morning at 49.
I've been put on work share again so I get a 20% reduction in hours starting this week...today. I'm picking up the drywall today to start finishing the stairwell. I wonder if it will be $85 a sheet like the plywood is...

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We had some rain last night and it cooled off a bit.
