Very warm and muggy feeling here. Feels "close." Not as hot or muggy as a month ago, but feels like it.

But the mornings are nice! 60-ish.

I think the eggs are done, or nearly so. I actually bought a dozen today. Sigh... Really hoping for pullets eggs in 6 weeks.

Have a gal coming to look over the hatch of 5 trying to get a few layers for her may even sell the legorns.

Yes, another late heat wave, only got down to 74 last night here.

Am lucky my pullets started laying already, I think all 6 may be laying.
I get 4-5 pullet eggs a day and a couple hens are still laying a couple-few a week.

This is where I'll get the head is steam off Bella in the mornings before we either hike or go to the dog park.

We went to the dog park this morning after breakfast and Bella made fast friends with everyone. Especially the black mutt, Louie. Super nice, responsible owners.

It feels like fall out there. It's 72 but the wind is whipping and it's overcast.
