Looked like y'all got pretty bad storms yesterday.....you're just east of GR, right

North and east. No violent stuff here, and no damage.

It's pouring now; can't see the end of the driveway. Thunder too. DH is about 38 miles west of home, and said he was getting hail there.

DH will text and tell me it's "poaring." I called him out on the typo, and he said it was intentional. Poaring is "raining so hard you might need oars and a boat."

Tears of joy here! We needed it.

Maybe not as hard as it poured, but we'll take it. It's been a dry summer. I know others have had it much worse, so I'm just thankful for what we have.

We could sure use some rain here also but thinks our part of the US could.
They have said we should see some end of his week

We got at least an inch and a half of rain between the storms last night and today. Possibly more rain tomorrow. Then some more summer.

Supposed to get some tomorrow evening after 87°.
More hot stuff in the ten-day.

Lots of feathers falling out there.
Pullets are putting out daily....wonder if they'll go all winter?

I'm getting 1 egg about every third day from a couple of my hens. The third looks pretty ragged right now.

Pullet eggs in 6 weeks...? One can hope...
