Perhaps you should be too?
No, it's just the spin cycle sound. She also paid attention to the beeping at the end of the cycle. :)

Our second Dobe always did too. It meant that mom was going to hang out laundry and she always came out to "help."

Well, I wasn't going to sniff the dirt and chew on a stick, was I?

When I get a bout (as I currently do), I mostly go out and grab a tool and start cutting down overgrown hedges or similar, so at least I can blame the aches and pains to the work.
This way I don't feel like falling victim to the disease andmore in control.
I like your attitude! I might have to go turn the compost today, so I feel I have an acceptable reason to have a sore back. (I think it was from lifting stuff, then sleeping in a bad position.)

Wright's covered bridge. This one we couldn't easily access. It's a rail bridge.

My favorite! A walking bridge along the Sugar River Trail.

The bowl was a second but still over $115. I love the colors and they'll look great on the island. Meet my new fruit bowl!

And my friggin' gas mileage!! We hadn't filled the tank since leaving home. This was my average mpg when we stopped in New Hampshire to top up. We could have continued another 108 miles.

Have I mentioned how much I love this car?!

What great adventure and pics!!
Thanks for sharing them.
Whenever I see a bridge, I see force vectors, flashbacks from one of my classes long ago.
There was a great program on PBS not too long ago about bridge constructions.

Here's one:
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/video/operation-bridge-rescue/
There was another program on at the same time about a wooden bridge construction somewhere in asia...can't find that one.
