My pullets started laying at 17 weeks of age back in last week of August.

I'm geting up to 1 and 12 eggs a day.

It's pretty frustrating when your newly matured pullet decides to go all the way and thinks she needs to be a mom. If she laid in the crate, she'll probably break quick.

It sure the hell is!
Not the first time it's happened here tho.

She laid in a nest, I found the egg after tossing her out of nest several times.
Then I put her in the crate.

Am hoping she'll break quick, gonna let her out this evening an hour before roost time, and continue to lay.

I like my 2 incubators they have done a great job for me Janoel12 and a 24.. without allot of messing

I try to see how late in the season I can go before the furnace comes on, using the woodstove.

I do the reverse. Furnace until cold enough to run the stove 24x7 through the winter.

And is it Karma that one of the workers backed his ass into the poultry netting and learned what 10,000 volts feels like?

Oh, wait, I'm not supposed to celebrate someone having pain am I
