Cool and drizzly here. It feels chilly because it looks chilly out there.

Well, the temp here is dropping very quickly, currently 33F. We went around and double-checked the hatches and DH is getting the woodstove ready to fire up for this evening, our first one of the year.

I'm making a loaf of GF bread in the bread machine, so in about 50 minutes, the house will smell divine. Half an hour later, I'll saw off the heels, and slather on the butter. Time passes quickly when I putter around on BYC. At least now I have an excuse.

Wait, I don't need an excuse.

Looks like it's going to rain on Saturday and clear out on Sunday. I wish it would go the other way so DH doesn't have to choose between doing something outside or watching football.

Sundays are all "taken" once football season starts.
