The short days actually feel very, very long.

Sometimes to me they just feel... wider.

No, not sure what I mean by that.

As soon as it gets dark, I just want to go to bed ad sleep.

Morning y'all.

My DH flew in yesterday, after a week in San Antonio, worn out and sick of how travel is these days. We live about 4 hrs east/northeast of Phoenix, so he then had to drive home from the airport. I know he's a grown-ass man, and a smart, careful driver. But I was sure glad when he got home. I'll probably keep him. (This first 28 years have been a sort of rent-to-own, y'know.)

That is kind of a problem isn't it! No "get up and go" when it is dark and cold outside even though it is light and warm inside.

I know what you mean. I do that in the summer, and as the days get shorter, my body thinks, well, it's getting dark, so it must be bedtime. Or maybe I was a chicken in a former life.
