Same here and a nasty wind to go with it. But we have to prepare for the impending flockdown anyway, so finishing the next two aviaries (the other two are done) is what we will be doing this weekend.

We had a great day yesterday. Chilly but bright blue skies. We have the same predicted for today and tomorrow.
Bella seems to have no issues with that knee after 6 days of strict rest. She was bursting at the seams when we got to the fields. This was after 10 minutes of zipping around.

It was dark and grey this morning, but the clouds opened with some sunlight coming through. I just did the rounds to make sure all the chickens/ducks had food and water. Parting with a few of my grow outs today (always bittersweet), but they are headed for a good home nearby and I need to pair down for the winter.

Time to plant some more bulbs and enjoy the weather!

Good morning, and thanks , Shad. Took Maggie to the park yesterday. Met a mother and her two daughters who fell in love. I warned that Maggie was a powerful beast and way too mouthy. They thought she was beautiful and were petting/hugging her. Very quietly the mother said, "That's okay, you can let go of my hand, Maggie."

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! I had book group last night so I was out a little late... As to the comment of working one's DH 7 days a week, I think my DH would wholeheartedly agree with that statement! (But he sleeps well.) He has been out three days in a row doing firewood and yesterday, we went out and he practiced dropping trees and wedging them over. Today DS$ and I will go cut them up and bring them home. It is supposed to be breezier today so no felling. We have some fun chores to do as well with a pizza on the return side so I think everyone will be just fine. Have a wonderful day, CAFE!

So lot's going on here. Placed 20 eggs on the 17th of October in my big incubator it holds 38 of big eggs. So not that big.
First out of the 20 cheering the rest on.
Second My buds pups are growing big close to eyes opening..
