BYC Café

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! Sunny and (should I call it brind, breeze + wind? " Winds could gust as high as 49 mph.")
We were in T-shirts at the lower ranch yesterday and it was brindy off and on for sure.
The poplar was good sized and ant-infested but we got it split. It took two people to get the big rounds loaded and then split and I only cut them about a foot wide because the tree was so big. I was in bed by eight and sore but this morning, not sore and good to go.
Have a beautiful Sunday!

I am told that no single person has ever managed to catch Henry in daylight hours and a couple of people have some minor wounds to attest to this.
Got to be worth a try.
Good luck! I'm betting you, the chicken whisperer, will have better luck than the other people.

It happens to the darnedest of folks - you just wouldn't believe it.
I know! And some of them seem quite intelligent and reasonable most of the time) ;)

I don't wear them to read or on the computer because they hinder rather than help.
I saw this and was going to reply but ...
When I designed plastic injection molds, I got a pair of computer glasses. At the eye exam, the doc showed me what that prescription change could do, and I was sold on the spot.
Then I saw this and you already posted my reply ;)
Why don't you get some new computer glasses? Make your life easier and less eye strain.

I cut the big ones to 16" same as the smaller ones. The big ones get lifted to the splitter with the forks on the tractor.

Going out now to put the snow tires on DW's Leaf. Hasn't snowed yet but it will happen!

DH and I are about due for eye exams and new lenses, probably. I think we'll go to a different place this time around.

I really did give it the ol' college try after they verified their prescription, but close up middle distance just was never better than no glasses, and the muscles around my eyes got tired.

The set my new glasses for computer work. There is a blue filter too.

Good evening Cafe.
@bruceha2000 I hope you didn't put a lot of money on that bet.
He let me stroke his wattles again but when I tried to slide my hand under him to pick him up a got a serious warning peck.
I'll get there eventually but button down your wallet in the mean time.:)

You, sir, failed to provide proper bribery! Where did you leave your raisins?
