Good evening all!

It's been a busy first month of the year - I'm feeling awful lucky to be living a mild winter with all the storms rolling by on the rest of the continent. Debating on starting some seeds indoors here for my parents as the average last frost date sometime around April 11th - then I'll head back east to do it all again come May!

I've made coffee.
It's not raining. I'll leave it at that for now.
Waiting for a window replacement. No I didn't have a rage fit and throw something through it! The seal between the two panes of glass of the double glazing has perished and condensation and with that dirt has got inbetween the panes. Moved all the stuff that was piled in the middle of the room while I paint to one side so they can get to the window. It's a 2.8 metre long pane.

Did you buy this place and so have to pay for the window or are you renting?


The warmer days are offset by the anticipation of ~2" of rain followed by 8+" of snow.
Hoping the WeatherGuessers have it wrong.

Me too! I'm looking forward to a high of 40 tomorrow, but not the "rain changing to snow" that they're talking about.

I might be out and about tomorrow, so at least it should be decent driving. Hate winter driving so much. If somehow the snow would just not fall on the roads... I could stand winter.
