The good news of today: The gales finally subsided and so did the rain!

And while running the dogs I noticed lots of cranes arriving, the sky was full of them calling and circling and circling to see some pairs off to their breeding grounds. Just love the cranes and their calls!
So spring is really on!

Gray and above freezing today. It will be below 0°F Sun, Mon and Tues mornings. High not much above 0°F Sun and Mon. Like Dobie, I fear we'll have a lot of slick out in the parking area and the path down to the barn.

But every time it gets warm and it starts to melt and then refreeze, it gets smoother.

Oh yeah. I know exactly what you mean. We get the same thing.

DL, does your driveway have hills in it? There are certain spots on our driveway/road that have hills and catch the sun just right. One spot is especially bad. I know to be going fast enough to get up the other side when I go down that slope. And stay off the brake and don't try to steer. If you stop at the bottom, you're done.
