We're looking at getting up to 20* today, what a relief it will be to get out of the negatives!

Our low was 29F this morning and the high will be 58F. Of course Warming Centers are open for the next several days du to our brutal cold!

Someone posted on the Michigan thread that HPAI has been found in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Here we go...

I had thoughts of another cast iron pan. I'd want to hold it, to feel how heavy it is. I had thoughts of a warm hoody; I have to try clothes on to see how they fit my wide shoulders/long arms.

Can’t say I’ve ever considered getting either of those things at Lowes.

Glue, can always use it, but there are lots of types and sizes of screws. Can’t know ahead of time which I’ll need next.

A little more info... Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Doesn't change much, but I want it to be correct. It was a backyard flock, they were "depopulated," and state officials quarantined the premises.

Anyone know what the quarantine might entail?

I try to keep all the types of screws i generally use on hand. Then i don't need to make a trip for one item.

I hope I never have to face this. My heart aches for anyone who does.
