Same here. That wind! It was BRUTAL yesterday. Bright sun to warm you but the wind ripped it away before it did any good. When I was out running the dogs, I felt noticably warmer on the wooded trails where the wind was blocked but then was a nervous wreck about a big dead tree branch falling down and de-nogginizing me.

Good evening Cafe.
Wet and miserable here.
Got the hallway carpet laid after a lot of bad language and the odd bruised finger or two. Finished painting the kitchen. Not over keen on the colour but the paint was free.
What does one put in a kitchen to make it look less bare? I could do plants on the window sill I guess.

Sorry you had a bad experience with the carpet, Shad. I laid carpet for a living for 32 years. I know it can be a headache. I've been retired from it for ten years and still have dreams about it.

I got 25 bales of hay jammed in my truck today. Then wandered around looking at rocks. Beautiful.
