A wonderful day...such a relief with the mild temps was greatly enjoyed.
Caught up on a couple outdoor chores.....
.....and filling my belly, couldn't eat much in the heat.

We have more rain coming down now but got a lot of stuff done before it hit.
The best part? My sheep shearer called and scheduled us in...
I was kinda not looking forward to THAT particular job.
Now I am making chai.

I mustered enough energy to take the dogs down for a short run this afternoon. We just got back.
Bella caught her first woodchuck of the season. I was looking at Skittles and didn't even realize she'd got one until I saw her doing the death shake at the edge of the tall grass. She must not have had a proper grip on it to quickly snap the neck because she dropped it and when she went to pick it back up, she yelped and jumped back. That marked the end of her fun for the night. And the woodchuck for that matter.

Even 'colder' this morning, mid 50's, socks and sleeves!

2 broodies in nest at lock up last night, 1 took a painful and bloody chunk out of my pinkie next to the cuticle(b!tch!), but nests were clear this morning. Set up the breaker crate anyway.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee Sour.

My new thing these mornings is I still snap awake at 5 to 5:30, I potty the dogs, feed them, take more cold and sinus medication then pass out on the couch for another 3 hours. I'm definitely over the hump but still sound like a frog.

Nice and cool here this morning at 52. It's only going up to 61 today. I do wish I hadn't gotten sick and the build was happening now. This is perfect construction weather.
