Good morning - coffee is ready. Tongues and lips bleed - In my experience they tend to heal rapidly. When I was a kid the neighbor lady up the hill with the 'egg farm' had an English setter. He was a champion at woodchuck hunting/killing. He would get them spinning in one direction, then change direction and grab them by the back of their necks. Game over. I can't remember his name. King?

She's super smart. She'll get better. Up until I adopted her she didn't have much opportunity to hunt. I don't encourage it, but she's going to get run and this is one of the risks. She needs to improve her technique.

Woodchucks are not predators but they can get real nasty protecting themselves or their young.

Predators of plants ......and sometimes building foundations.
Definitely predators of my peace of mind.

I value our plants pretty high. Never seen one to my knowledge? but googled them not cute either.
Need to get in gear and take frozen veggies to the chickens.
