BYC Café

Morning and thanks for the coffee! I had a nice lunch with SIL. I guess it is back to firewood today, high of 82, which is nasty hot for up here, so I guess I had better get moving.
How is Maggie, Sour? I hope the meds are kicking in for her.
Stay safe, DL!
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Ran across some old pics of my miniature ponding/plant days(2009)

Digging in the pond site is going to be a misery today. We're going over 90 again.
Work early and late, nap in between. :D

Close to 90 again here today...anther few days of that then a cooling trend is forecast. :fl
Got two deluges last evening/night. Thought for sure I'd have flooding to wade thru today for unloading chook supplies, but garage is dry and we only got about a 1/2" total.
Drain system handled it all :yesss: as evidenced by erosion patterns in the run.

Yes!
But the number one priority in the cooler weather was getting the dogs run. Bella hasn't run in 3 days and she was bursting at the seams.
When we got back I checked the clock and went out to dig for about an hour. After chipping away at it and practically filling the pond hole up with my sweat, I climbed out and went in the house and saw that I was only out there for 30 minutes! :barnie
I brought my computer home from work and I still owe 3 hours so I think I'm going to just work during the peak heat of the day.

Do you have a pond progress thread by any chance?
No. I was thinking about it just to have a place to record the work and have before and after pictures. But I wouldn't have any time to man the stupid thing!

I'd certainly like to follow. Where did you get your plans? I moved from a suburban house with a pond to 2 acres without one. I'd certainly like to have another.

Where did you get your plans?
Out of my brain.
After lots of research and from my previous experience with my first pond. I want this one to be much easier to maintain.
This is the first one.
