This morning, I watched first year, Missy, get into a fight with second year HUGE, Torvi (she pushes 7 pounds). Flared hackles and flogging each other. Fabio right there watching and doing nothing. Ace ran in and started flogging both of them. Then Annie (my crowing girl) jumped into the fray.
Fabio only got involved when Ace did. He went after Ace. What a numbskull.
By the time Annie showed up, the girls broke it off and went their separate ways.
I do love watching all their interactions even if it's a ridiculous fight over a speck of bird seed.

We have more wood to split today before some rain comes in, hopefully.
Not much else going on around here and I guess that is just fine. Tomorrow, I am having lunch with my SIL, which will be fun because she is so different from me, that we wind up having conversations that I do not usually have. Stuff about furniture, clothing, redecorating, smelly candles...

My zucchini plants have exploded. I checked 2 days ago and there were little tiny ones about 5" long. Today they were about 12". Holy crow.
I gave a bunch to each of my neighbors along with lots of cucumbers.
I found two terrific Paleo recipes for a cold cucumber salad and zucchini fritters! So darn good.

My Garden is sp stunted by the wet weather we had start of sprin thru june first week of july..
My tomatilla is tons of flowers ..
There are flowers on most my tomato no fruit set yet.

I watered EVERYTHING yesterday. Even the landscape plants I put in last fall. It's just unbelievably dry here. Thank goodness for that little window A/C unit I keep in the bedroom. A fan blowing from the bedroom down the hall is all it takes to keep the house comfortable.
