I think the reason I love chicken so much is because we had them as a child. It was my job to feed and water them. Often stayed and played with them for hours. That was back before the internet.

I'll introduce myself. I'm a Nurse at the local health office. I'm close to retirement. I can't wait until I don't have to do the 40 hour grind. We have 7 hens that are laying. Hubby is retired And just loves his girls. I recently received a Baby rooster from a friend who also gave me these eggs to set

We were going to walk for a while this morning. We found a snowmobile trail, and the flies found us. So we came back to the hotel, to A/C and no bugs. But not much to see here.

Really hoping for a breeze during the wedding. Blow the bugs away and cool the over dressed people down a bit.

My buddy with the three Border Collies was concerned when the Grounds where we all run our dogs was sold and asked the owner of the adjacent property if he could mow some trails on his land for us to use. He agreed.
The new owner of the Grounds has made it very clear that we are welcome to continue use the Grounds "at our own risk". So now we have lots of hiking options.
Visiting these lower trails reminds me of 1996 when I bought my first house and started using this property to run my dogs. It's really nice in here and offers more options with shade.

This is more of the adjacent property with paths mowed in. When I was 17, I helped hay this field!

Shade is good in this weather. When we take Maggie to the park, we stick to the shaded paths. She is not very heat tolerant.
