I'll fish his stupid butt out today when I get home.
I wish they'd stop jumping in.
I used to go out to the koi pond every night and catch toads and tree frogs when we lived in FL. They made too much noise ,and hubby is a light sleeper. Then i would relocate them away from our area.

I loved listening to them at our pond in Binghamton. I have the new pond right smack dab outside my bedroom window! Weird how different people respond to various noises.

Cannot imagine trying to catch all the noisemakers outside.
Tree frogs stay in the trees, toads in the pond would be possible and those buggers are LOUD!!

Yes they are! Luckily i practised catching such things when i was a kid. So i am pretty good at it.

I wonder if she'll take them up to the roosts tonight. This is the first time I've seen her take them up on the chair.

All told, we got maybe 1/8" of rain here. Sigh. I watered one of the gardens today, after dinner.

I remember my first camping/backpacking trip with my boyfriend, now DH. We were by a pond, and the spring peepers were L.O.U.D! Our ears were ringing the next morning.
