I've got birds moulting and birds going broody!!!!!

Yeah, went thru plenty of broodies this summer.
Never had 2-3 at a time before, it was a PITA!

I'm breaking a broody right now. It's her 4th time. Thank goodness she's the only one who is like this.

I just hope she feels like sitting and raising chicks next spring.

My crates are only big enough for 1 bird, but I have 4 of them.

This is her 4th time this summer. The first time was in June.

So next April, May, June would be good. March could work too. July and later would be ok, but I'd like to have laying pullets for the winter.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We are forecast to get showers dotted around for well over a week. It is going to be tough to get that damn room finished but I think I'm only going to go to work for a few hours then bug out and come home at at least get the roof decking done. Then hopefully by the end of the weekend have all the drip edge, ice & water and underlayment on and be back out from under the tarps.
