Puppy mill breeder maybe?

Not this woman. Bella was flown in from Serbia with her full sister and an unrelated male from Altobello Kennels. I can't imagine what it cost to purchase her European Doberman 'start up' stock and have them flown to NY.
Then the male ended up shooting blanks and Bella's sister resorbed 2 pregnancies so everything fell on Bella to recoup her up front expenses and make any money. Hence continuing to breed a dog that could not give birth naturally and had to have cesarians.

Bella is not livestock.

Yesterday Skittles was laying next to me with his ears perked up whining while watching Bella and Piper play. Like he thought it looked like lots of fun and would like to try it but still thinks Piper has too much energy for him. He is correct. This is the way they will bond.

It’s warm and wet here right now. We’re in for a lot of rain over the next couple of days. I just took this photo of Salt - she’s hunkered down like the rest of us this dreary Saturday morning

Good morning! Love the Pics! They make me want to snuggle back into bed.
I should have most of the snow gone off of the wood porch by the end of today.
It only took a few months for DH to decide that maybe letting the snow accumulate and walking over the drifts was not the way to go. After one wind storm, his firewood cargo sled was buried with snow and firewood. Could not see it at all! Then he started cleaning up the porch and I graciously started helping,
mainly to stay in shape for Spring. There is a 5 inch layer of ice that I am using the warm weather to help with on the main path. He must have thought I was just having fun out there all these years!
My eyes roll so much they are gonna get stuck off-kilter! LOL!

Skittles will play with me and that's it.
He's been more playful since Piper arrived.

It. Is. Sunny! Really, truly, honestly sunny! For the first time this year. Not a glimmer of sun, not a peak at the sun, not a pretty sunset. A sunny DAY!

Yeah, I needed this.

Just a short hello, as DH suffered another stroke which keeps me rather busy.

I hope you all are doing well and that you @Mtn Margie are recovering well from your bout of Covid.
