Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I went to dinner at Shadow's owners, Scott and Michelle, last night. I brought the dogs and Piper's Porta-potty. Piper did amazing! She was herself and not reserved or nervous. She and Bella were zooming around playing with each other like they do here and after about 1/2 hour of those shenanigans I took Piper over to her porta-potty and asked her if she had to go. She hopped in, had a long pee and hopped out and started playing again.

At dinner I put her in her crate and positioned it so she could see us all in the dining room. She just laid quietly and watched us. No fussing. No whining.

After dinner she and Bella started up again and at one point Piper launched herself to jump up on their couch like she does here only she landed on Scott's man berries. Michelle and I laughed. Scott? Not so much.

Shadow hates her. He wouldn't look at her and was growling at her when she came over to see him and lick his face. Michelle thinks he's jealous because she was doting over Piper.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. Piper's antics and the resultant pain are reminiscent of Maggie and her rough housing.

I think I told the story of Maggie's 'disappearing/reappearing ball? Anyway, when it returned I placed it by her headstone where her ashes were buried. That was late October, and it's been there ever since. Yesterday morning it was moved back to her favorite tree where she frequently left it. Freaky stuff.

Skittles is sooo much easier to climb than Bella.

I hope you don’t mind me popping in. I don’t drink coffee and I am a cat person but I have been following Piper’s story and am a bit smitten. She and Bella playing are adorable and Skittles is looking patiently long suffering.
You tell their stories very well. Thank you for sharing.
Now I will go back to my cats and my tea!

She's MINE!! Mine, mine, MINE!! You can't have her!!
Seriously though I'm glad you are vicariously enjoying her and her antics. I've never had a puppy before and the whole thing is a novel experience for me. I was panic-stricken about raising a puppy for nothing!
