Got up early this morning, hubby offered to help me work on Mel's shelter. We got the roof made. He suggested that we put the roof on hinges so i can move the roof when i need to clean out the bedding. The whole thing needs painting on the outside. The floor and walls are already painted.
By the way, Mel is my goat buck.

Today is the change day for the weather. Temp has dropped to freezing, wind is light, and snow is on its way. 2-4" forecast yesterday is now upped to 3-5" today. Glad I did the shopping on Tuesday.

DH is going to build a darkroom in the basement and yesterday he assembled the enlarger that a friend gave him. It's one from the lab where all of us worked. Oh, the memories!!

Thanks for the hot coffee! It was -0F on the wall when I went out for chores.
Somehow, the minus made it feel colder. My fingers got cold today dealing with the ice.

It didn't rain and stayed above 8C while I was at the allotments. Incredible wathcing the lower clouds hack accross the sky while the seagulls flew back from the river.

We're going to have drizzly rainy weather today while the temperature drops. It rather looks like Shad's picture above only without the seagulls.
Right now it's 55. It will drop to 16 before midnight.
