Why not wait for them to reproduce?

Your pond is rather small so might essily get overpopulated in no time 🐠🐟🐠🐡🐟🐡🐠🐡🐟🐡🐠🐡🐟🐟🐠🐠
It's rather barren in there. When they do start to produce fry, I'll sell them off. No matter what, I'll need to remove fish from the pond once it gets fully established.

Well, think I figured out why Old Goldie has been a bit off and not coming into the coop at night. Thought she had dingle berries on her fluffy butt, there was some poops but was mostly lice egg clusters.
I've been negligent on that part of chickeneering for a long time and now will pay for it with many late evenings with the duster can or spray bottle over the next few weeks.
SMH with shame.

I'm sorry... chicken pests can be absent for so long and then all of a sudden cause trouble. Hopefully it's just lice and easier-than-not to deal with!

I hate pests. So hard to get rid of them.
