Today we have heat and humidity, but a cool front is coming to break it up. So glad. DH is hiding in the house, and there are a lot of outdoor projects we need to get done. Some are his projects, some are our projects.

Had a nice little thunder rumbler roll thru, still raining.
~75 feels pretty cool at high humidity...... after near 90 yesterday.
Will be a steamer later.

Just a couple drips from the faucet install, I expect that to stop soon, but checking frequently.
Am sore even thru the ibuprofen, will need more later to keep it at bay.

I am at my wits' end dealing with this TMJ for 2 months. Anything i take that helps the pain puts me to sleep. Hard to get chores done while asleep. Hot compresses, ibuprofen, eating soft food are just not helping much.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
Bella zipping around the field. The monarda is in bloom and the milkweed should be blooming in a few weeks.

I called the local humane society where I have applied to get Piper spayed. I applied in the middle of April. I was told I would be called next April for her spay appointment! Holy crap!! They have a huge backlog of dogs but they're no longer accepting female dogs because obviously their surgeries take longer than the males. So Piper will be going through another heat cycle. Thank goodness I kept her diapers. And if I don't get scheduled in early April, she may go into her third heat the following May.
