Doesn't look like a lot but I worked from about 10 to 7 today and yesterday to get this far. And working on framing instead of climbing into the attic to move the vent pipe ended up saving me some headache. The original spot I prepped to penetrate the ceiling would have put me directly under a truss! See? Procrastinating pays!

All the coffee supplies are right there next to the coffee pot so brew a cup and enjoy before chores/housework/ employment begins today. I apologize for not having coffee with Y'all yesterday I had to go to a friends house early in order to meet up with an elderly neighbor to go to her doctor appointment (and small shopping trip).

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Kylie got one over on me last night at lockup and head count.

I have 24 birds. I start with 2 for Kylie and Miracle down in the ward then run around the roosts. I came up with 25 two times! WTH? Then I heard peeping. Coming from the roosts. Kylie took Miracle to the roost for the first time last night.

This morning when I was feeding, out comes a cluck-cluck-clucking Kylie but no Miracle. I look in the window to the coop and there she is just hanging with the rest of the hens peeping away because she can't find her mother!
